You can reach Dhaula by air, train, and road:

  • By Train: Dehradun connects Lucknow, Mumbai, Delhi, Allahabad, Ujjain, Kolkata, and Chennai. The railway station is just 1 to 2 kilometers from the city center, and you can reach your destination within 10 to 12 minutes, depending on the traffic. You can hire a taxi from Dehradun or take the bus to Dhaula.
  • By Road: Tourists can easily reach Dehradun from Delhi via road. You can cover this total distance of 307 kilometers in seven hours and forty-five minutes. Though the road is bumpy, you will enjoy the beautiful views. Take the local bus or hire a taxi from Dehradun to Dhaula.
  • By Air: Jolly Grant Airport is a domestic airport and is about 20 kilometers away from Dehradun city center. The international airport is about 235 kilometers away from Delhi. You can easily land at any airport and hire a taxi to reach Dhaula.

  • Day 6: It will be the pass-crossing day. You will walk to the Rupin Pass and then reach Ronti Gad
  • Day 7: On the last day, you will trek from Ronti to Sangle and drive back to Shimla
